INVADER ZIM ENTER THE FLORPUS REVIEW
No doubt this movie is a genius, better than the rocko movie. The best extraterrestrial returns with a film at all ethical and completely amazing.
The Netflix movie: invade zim enter the florpus is taken from the first comic released in 2015 (with a very cool anime introduction) but with a different plot line since here we see how zim after several failed attempts finds a way to destroy the humans through bracelets created by the membrane professor to preserve world peace. Throughout the movie Dib will try to stop Zim leading to a cosmic battle for the survival of mankind.
This movie is in a nutshell: INCREDIBLE because it perfectly represents the essence of the character of Invader Zim, it is a tribute to the original animated series with several winks and jokes risen as is the custom of this series. It does not leave any detail of animation without caring since it seems to be worked correctly, although the characters look slightly more childish than in the series, but if you do not notice it does not show. If the story is good, it shows that the writer of the series Jhonen Vazquez strived to create a great and very funny story.
This movie has many references and easter eggs to the series so it is as if it were a long-lasting chapter, the voices of the characters are the same as in the series so you can expect a good vocal performance especially with Gir who seems being crazier now, I really had my doubts about this movie. I did not know if it would be as good as the series, but I ended up surprising myself even more than I expected, it is a really epic and great film, I would only have liked to see Tak again in the film, but I still loved it.
I must say that I have never liked the other nickelodeon cartoons, it always seemed to me that the designs of series like the thornberrys, the rugrats (except Reptar) hey arnold and others were very silly, childish and really stupid, but invading zim breaks with that aesthetic with a really cool cyber-goth style really cool design. In fact, I also like the themes they handle and that are not thematic that children understand and the truth even with my five years I always found a very cool series full of excellent black humor and two-way jokes that fit perfectly with the personality of the characters is that maybe getting out of the everyday and wanting to break paradigms made this cartoon so good, so much so that the nickelodeon had envy / fear, at least I see it.
In conclusion, invading zim enter the florpus is the best nickelodeon movie that I have seen for his designs of both characters and the narrative, it is a rather epic film that if you are a soft and politically correct person you will surely hate it, but I will On the other hand, enjoy watching this animated work of science fiction and black humor. Currently this movie is on Netflix if you want to see it and I really recommend it to you, seriously if you are a fan of the saga you will love this film.
